SCHOOL READINESS

Little Heads Tutoring Services offers a School Readiness Program for toddler and preschool age children (3 to 5 Years). The Program is available from the comfort of your home, or at our Learning Centre.

A tutor will work one on one with children to effectively help them make strong academic progress, and learn the skills and abilities needed for school and achievement.

The Program is based on the Early Years Learning Framework, and is integrated into all areas of the National Curriculum. It aims to provide children with fine motor skills and social and cognitive development through a variety of meaningful, hands-on, and fun activities.

Tutors will use resources to constructively teach basic literacy and numeracy skills, such as the alphabet, letters and sounds, pre-reading, counting, colours and shapes, space and measurement, handwriting, cutting and pencil grip.
